Visit the waterfalls at Sertig Dörfli. (Take the city bus to the Platz Train Station, then the Post Bus to Sertig.) Eat lunch at one of the outdoor restaurants near the bus stop.

Lectures are held in the morning, the late afternoon, and the evening, with a large break in the afternoon to enjoy the recreational activities of the area and allow for interactions between the participants. Organized hikes and visits to points in interest in and around Davos will be arranged for some of the afternoons. Below are suggested activities for the afternoon break.
Berghotel Schatzalp
Take the Schatzalp Bahn to the Berghotel Schatzalp (Old sanitorium made famous in Thomas Mann’s The Magic Mountain). Eat lunch overlooking the valley. Ride the Schlittlebahn (Summer toboggan ride). Walk back down to Davos.
Jakobshorn
Take the lift to the top of Jakobshorn. Eat lunch overlooking the valley and/or hike down to Clavedel and take the Post Bus back to Davos.
Weissfluhjoch
Take the Parsenn Bahn to Weissfluhjoch. Eat lunch overlooking the valley.
Davosee
Walk or ride the city bus to the lake (Davosee. Eat lunch and watch the windsurfers. Walk around the lake (approximately 2 km).
Shopping
Shop along Promenadestrasse.
Clavadel
Take the Post Bus to Clavadel. Hike back to Davos.
